Our Solar Partnership Pathway

The Process:

1. Contract Signature

  • Gather all necessary documents.
  • Ensure all parties review the agreement.
  • Sign the contract to formalize the engagement.


2. Site Survey (1-2 days)

  • Schedule a visit to the site with the client.
  • Perform a detailed inspection of the premises including the roof/land, electrical room, and router locations.
  • Set up safety zones and access points as needed.
  • Collect measurements and assess the structural integrity for weight loading.


3. Professional Engineer Review (if necessary)

  • Arrange a second visit by a Professional Engineer to validate initial findings.


4. Engineering/Design (1-3 weeks)

  • Compile site survey data to create a preliminary design.
  • Review and refine the design in the office.
  • Present the final design to the customer for approval.


5. Permitting (4-6 weeks)

  • Prepare and submit permit applications to local, utility, and state authorities.
  • Collect customer signatures for certain application parts before and after job completion.


6. Installation (1- X weeks)

  • Determine site logistics for panel and equipment storage.
  • Conduct the installation, ensuring minimal disruption and coordination with the client for any necessary power shutdowns.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding facility use, such as bathroom access or the need for portable facilities.


7. Commissioning (2-4 days)

  • Perform system tests.
  • Connect the system to online monitoring platforms.


8. Inspections/Final Paperwork (4-8 weeks)

  • Schedule and facilitate township inspections.
  • Follow up on the installation of the Net Meter by the utility company.
  • Complete and submit final paperwork for state approval and incentive programs.
  • Acquire necessary client signatures.


9. Job Closeout

  • Deliver all final paperwork and instructions to the client.
